The first stop motion feature film to be captured digitally. In pre-production I was heavily involved in the testing of digital capture system and spent 18 months as an Lighting Cameraman on the project shooting key sequences for both the Land of the Living and Land of the Dead segments of the movie.
I worked closely with Director Mike Johnson, Pete Kozachick (DP) and Nelson Lowrey (AD) to create looks which were pertinent to the script and would underscore Tim Burton's aesthetic motivations for the film. Planned and executed motion control camera moves using Kuper motion control.
