Knifedge was commissioned by Action for Prisoners’ Families (APF) to produce a drama to join a series of existing dramas to help work with prisoners around issues with their families.
Tom Hadley worked closely with scriptwriter, Mary Cooper, to sensitively deal with the relevant issues whilst weaving them into an engaging drama. Knifedge won the prestigious Gold for Best Drama at 2010 IVCA Awards.
The judges commented that it was “A powerful drama. Well cast, directed, acted and edited. It gave a real sense of the trauma affecting women prisoners and their families.”
